Site identification and landowner engagement, leads to site feasibility work to establish development options and purchase price.

Contract Terms and Legals

Agree purchase terms with landowner and enter legal contract to acquire land.

Planning Application

Commission professional team (architect, engineers, highway, planning consultants etc.) and co-ordinate the submission of a planning application.

Site Purchase, Specification and Build

Completion of the land purchase (usually after planning permission has been granted), Kyme Homes' designers then firm up building specifications and the construction team are mobilised to begin building work.

Marketing, After Sales and Development Review

Sales process starts and once completed, Kyme Homes' after sales care policy comes in affect. The overall development is then reviewed to ensure we are constantly improving in all aspects of our business.

Case study - Shadwell village, North Leeds

The project below is just one example of where we have overcome the odds and achieved planning permission against an extremely challenging set of circumstances.

The Opportunity

Planning permission to re-develop an existing house and land into four new build properties, had previously been refused and the homeowner had all but given up hope on the idea of realising a dream of selling up to live out their retirement on the East coast. 

The Result

Working closely with the homeowner and our professional team we drew up various layout options to establish a scheme which addressed the reasons for refusal to the previous application, secured a detailed planning permission in the shortest possible time, and met the consent of nearby residents, many of whom had previously been against any form of development. Our creative and professional approach was crucial in unlocking and maximising the development value of the property and meeting the homeowners wishes.
